Todos tenemos claro que en la Costa Brava tenemos playas y calas para todos los gustos, pero ¿cuáles son las más adecuadas para ir con vuestros hijos? Son más de 200 kilómetros de costa, entre acantilados, dunas, pinares, zonas más urbanas... A continuación, repasamos las más interesantes, teniendo en cuenta que muy cerca de ellas encontraréis siempre algún establecimiento de Costa Brava Verd Hotels que os permitirá organizar una estancia inmejorable en este pequeño paraíso natural.
Iremos de norte hacia el sur y empezamos en Cadaqués, donde encontramos la Playa d'en Ros. Con arena y piedras el agua tiene poca profundidad, lo que la hace ideal para ir con niños, y llegar hasta ella también es bien sencillo. Una vez en la arena, las vistas hacia la bahía de Cadaqués son de auténtica postal. Aquí tenemos el Hotel Playasol, en una de las mejores localizaciones del pueblo y que cuenta con jardín y piscina.

Y ahora vamos hacia Roses, donde destacamos la playa de la Almadraba y la del Salatar. La primera es una de las más apreciadas por su arena fina y su gran amplitud, que siempre da tranquilidad a las familias, y porque queda resguardada de la tramontana. Barcas varadas en la arena y un pasado marinero muy presente
Un poco más al sur, todavía en el Alt Empordà, está la playa de l’Escala, conocida también como la playa de las barcas, y con un pasado del ajetreo de los pescadores que todavía está muy presente. Con arena gruesa, está en pleno núcleo urbano, de manera que cada dos por tres hay actividades programadas que harán disfrutar mucho a los niños.
A mitad de camino entre el Alt y Baix Empordà está la cala Montgó, con todos los servicios y junto al camino de ronda que sube hacia punta Ventosa y la torre de punta Montgó, que antiguamente servía para avisar de la llegada de piratas. De forma redondeada y a retiro de la tramontana es una playa ideal para los juegos de los más pequeños. Y muy cerca, encontramos la playa de Mas Pinell, en Torroella de Montgrí-L'Estartit. Con las islas Medes como protagonistas en el agua es una playa larga, con dunas y vegetación autóctona. Es uno de los lugares más especiales para ver la salida del sol desde la desembocadura del río Ter. Es el último tramo de playa de este municipio, que termina en las balsas d’en Coll y que tiene muy cerca la zona de arrozales. Es de arena gruesa y se llega fácilmente en coche. Como toda esta zona litoral, la playa es muy abierta y expuesta al oleaje, una diversión más para los más atrevidos de casa.
