Unos ladridos de alegría, unos saltos en el jardín, un momento de reposo en la terraza ... Todos estos gestos naturales de vuestro perro serán respetados en algunos hoteles, pero en otros puede que no sean tan bien vistos. Por ello, vale la pena comprobar con antelación si el alojamiento donde tenemos previsto reservar nuestra estancia admite mascotas en sus instalaciones.
La mayoría de hoteles no permiten que el perro o cualquier otra mascota permanezcan en las zonas comunes del establecimiento, como el restaurante, el bar o la piscina, pero afortunadamente hay algunos que disponen de jardines por donde la mascota sí puede pasear. Hay alojamientos que admiten mascotas de hasta 5 kg de peso, otros hasta 20 kg y en otros hoteles son bienvenidos perros de cualquier tamaño. El número suele estar limitado a una sola mascota por habitación y se permite que el animal duerma junto a sus dueños.
El hotel Àncora de Palamós acepta todo tipo de perros, gatos, canarios y otros animales domésticos. Los perros pueden disfrutar del jardín, las habitaciones y la terraza. También pueden estar en el césped que rodea la piscina. No pueden acceder al restaurante ni a la piscina, pero si el animal de compañía es bien educado y tranquilo, no hay problemas en permitirle el acceso al comedor interior. Si se viaja con dos perros, ambos podrán estar en la habitación con sus propietarios. Por ahora, no cobran suplemento por los animales.

El precio por animal es de 15 € por día y la reserva se limita a un perro por habitación.
