Catalonia (Catalunya) is a small country with six million inhabitants, more than a thousand years of history and culture and language that have shaped its own personality. Now, Catalonia is an autonomous community in Spain and occupies an area of ??31,930 km2. Catalonia is surrounded to the south of Valencia, Aragon to the west, in northern France, in the northwest of Andorra and the Mediterranean Sea to the east.
